This resonated deeply, especially the moment where your greatest fear became your advantage. I’ve been writing from a similar place, but through a different doorway: not just how we adopt AI, but how we stay close to ourselves while doing it.
The Human Amplification Index feels like exactly the kind of signal we need right now. In my own work, I’ve been exploring what it means to shift from mandates to invitations, from pressure to clarity, in how we lead people through this transformation.
Grateful for the way you framed this shift. Quiet clarity like this carries further than any roadmap.
Hey Sol, what a timely article. Thanks for sharing. I have found that with hands on the keyboard, prompting AI, and leveraging my experience on top of the AI Ideation, I was able to navigate through the waters of starting my consultancy in Digital Transformation for commerce. You are right about having the fear of the unknown or getting replaced, etc. Once you understand AI from many angles, you become the driver and AI becomes the response master. I too am a portfolio experienced high tech professional. Working in multiple industries allows you to bring that cross-pollination solutions to your challenges. All the Best, Eric
Thank you, Sol! I’ve been having similar reflections. I’m increasingly concerned about the tendency to label every problem or opportunity as an “AI use case.” Your emphasis on staying human-centered is a timely reminder that not all innovation needs to be algorithmic.
This perspective challenges us to treat AI as one tool in a broader toolkit—not as an “easy button” or a universal solution. As you point out, many challenges are better addressed through proven, human-centric approaches. And that’s more than acceptable—it’s often the most effective path.
I relate to this 100%! "Being cross-sector and cross-industry means I can relate to different functions and business areas in ways that specialists sometimes can't." I also did a number of very different things in my career even though I did not take the traditional management consulting route. This is a strength for sure! If anything now with AI those first 6 months can be even more exciting and dynamic.
Thank you! Formal launch coming out soon
So glad you found it useful Eric 🙏🏼. And congrats on being the AI master, wish more people took that approach
Thank you Roi - I'm so glad this resonated!
